Welcome to Madesjöskolan 7-9, a school unit with approximately 270 students in the center of Nybro. Here, we work in teams around all our students to meet them in the best possible way. We will prioritize collegial learning and leadership as our development areas for the upcoming school year. Each week, the team holds a conference where themes may vary, but consensus and collaboration are recurring topics. The student health team participates in conferences continuously and has very close collaboration with the school's safety pedagogue. Responsibilities

Madesjöskolan is looking for an engaged and qualified special educator or special teacher who wants to make a difference for our students in grades 7-9. The position is particularly aimed at grade 9 but also involves collaboration with other grades in the lower secondary school. The role involves active work in the school's student health team. You will teach in the school's special education groups and be responsible for documentation and follow-up regarding students in need of special support. You will work according to the collective agreement for teachers. Together with your team and colleagues, you will help build an engaging operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility as a special educator or special teacher. Experience working with students in need of special support is desirable. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and quality-conscious. You have good collaboration skills and communicate from a solution-focused perspective in every meeting with colleagues, students, and parents. You have a positive attitude and an interest in further developing the operation. We are looking for a driven person with great commitment. You work actively with the operation's value base to promote the equal value of all. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
