Our Operations

Children and adolescents who need to be anesthetized and operated on come to our Pediatric Anesthesia and Surgery Department. It is important to us that both children and accompanying relatives feel well cared for and secure. We operate on and treat children between the ages of 0 and 16. The work is varied, broad, and diverse. Our specialties include urology, upper gastrointestinal surgery, orthopedics, hand surgery, and neonatal surgery. We also receive children from oncology, which includes surgery and treatments from diagnosis to completed treatment.

Your Role

We are now looking for new colleagues for pediatric surgery. Here, you will gain good practical skills and theoretical knowledge through a thorough induction based on your previous experience. You will become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you work independently. We offer you varied and stimulating work where your role is significant.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an Assistant Nurse (undersköterska) and have a few years of experience.

Your Competence

You always put the patient first, are responsible, and motivated in your work. You should be able to work independently and be flexible. Additionally, you need to have an easy time collaborating with all professional categories. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. To fully understand the entire department, one must work integratively and be trained in both the operating field, anesthesia, and our pediatric recovery unit.

What We Offer

We can offer you a permanent full-time position with a start date as agreed. You will receive tailored induction based on your competence and experience. Here, you will also receive continuous further education and competence development to strengthen you in your work as an Assistant Nurse in pediatric surgery. We value the staff's engagement and knowledge in our continuous quality work.

• Permanent full-time employment
• Daytime working hours (Monday–Friday) with on-call duty every 6th–8th weekend.
• From September; working time model with 37 hours/week
