About the Role
This is a direct recruitment position, meaning the recruitment process is handled through Academic Work, but you will be employed directly by the client company.
Our client is a growing company with approximately 50 employees. Although the company does not currently have a formal IT department, you will become part of a broader and tight-knit Operations team consisting of seven colleagues. In this role, you will be the company's first dedicated IT resource, taking broad responsibility for ensuring a stable and well-functioning IT environment. You will work closely with the business and be a key figure in structuring IT operations moving forward.
The role is operational and varied, combining daily support with longer-term improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
In the role of IT Technician, you will work broadly within IT support and administration. Your main responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line support to colleagues regarding computers (PC/Mac), phones, and peripheral equipment
- Managing procurement, installation, and lifecycle of hardware such as computers and mobile devices
- Ensuring new employees have the correct equipment and permissions from day one
- Managing subscriptions and inventory of IT equipment
- Documenting and developing IT routines and simpler policies
- Working with basic IT security
- Supporting practical office-related tasks, such as setting up workstations and meeting room technology
You will also collaborate with an external IT partner for more complex issues.
Who We Are Looking For
- Post-secondary education in IT, such as networking or support
- Approximately 1–3 years of experience in IT support
- Proficient in working with both hardware and software
- Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken) and good command of English
