Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund is a municipal consortium responsible for operating and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4,000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Stagnelius School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund and has approximately 1,100 students and 120 employees. We offer programs in social sciences, economics, law, and commerce. We also have a unit for students with neuropsychiatric disabilities within the autism spectrum.

Job Description

We are looking for a teacher qualified to teach mathematics in upper secondary school. You will drive pedagogical and didactic school development in a collegial climate. You inspire students, meet them at their knowledge level, and further their knowledge development. This means that you collaborate well with colleagues, build good relationships with your students, see opportunities, possess solid pedagogical methods and strategies, and can put them into practical action.

Qualifications

To be qualified, you must hold an upper secondary school teacher certification according to the provisions on qualifications in the Education Act (SFS 2011:326). You should be interested in working in work teams and participating in various development groups. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

Terms of Employment

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Permanent position.
• Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-10 (In August or as agreed).
• Working hours: Daytime.

Before an employment offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police record for work in schools must be presented.

To strengthen Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund's ability to operate under heightened readiness, all permanent staff will be assigned to wartime duties (krigsplacerad).

The position is filled provided it does not need to be taken by surplus personnel or that required political decisions are made.
