At Lindevalls Industri AB, we manufacture textile products for customers with high demands for quality, delivery security, and precision. To ensure stable and efficient production, we are now looking for a Service/Mechanical Technician who wants to take responsibility for the maintenance, service, and repair of our machinery.

About the Role

As a Service/Mechanical Technician, you are responsible for ensuring that our production machines operate optimally. The work involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, where you troubleshoot, service, and repair our machines – primarily industrial sewing machines, but also other production equipment.

You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and contributing to efficient production.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Service and maintenance of industrial sewing machines
• Troubleshooting and repair of machines and production equipment
• Preventive maintenance according to a maintenance plan
• Ordering and replacing spare parts
• Contact with machine manufacturers and suppliers regarding technical issues
• Documentation of completed maintenance
• Participation in improvement projects to develop our production

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and thrives in hands-on work. You do not need to be an expert in industrial sewing machines from the start – the most important thing is that you have a genuine technical interest and a willingness to learn.

You are a person who:

• Is handy and has a strong technical interest
• Is solution-oriented and works in a structured manner
• Has an aptitude for analyzing problems and finding effective solutions
• Has good mechanical understanding
• Is self-motivated but also enjoys collaborating
• Is meticulous and responsible

A large part of the training involves reading exploded-view diagrams, service manuals, and maintaining ongoing contact with the technical support of machine manufacturers. Therefore, it is important that you are curious and enjoy learning new technical solutions.

Qualifications

We would appreciate it if you have:

• Experience in mechanical maintenance, service, or repair
• Experience from industry or production (preferred)
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
