About the Workplace

Jämjö Knowledge Centre is a comprehensive school (grades 1-9) located in a natural and scenic environment in Jämjö. The school has approximately 670 students, of whom 330 are in the lower secondary school (grades 7-9). Work at JKC is based on close collaboration between all staff in our various professions to maintain a holistic view of the students and support their development. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher, you have a central role in developing teaching by using varied working methods. You are expected to integrate digital tools as a natural part of your teaching to create a modern and engaging learning environment. An important part of your work is to establish a safe and study-friendly environment in the classroom, where students feel secure and motivated to learn. You will also actively work on building strong professional relationships with students, guardians, and your colleagues to promote a positive and collaborative atmosphere at the school.

Qualifications

• Legitimized teacher (Swedish teaching license).
• Authorization to teach in grades 7-9 with competence in mathematics, natural sciences, and technology.

You thrive working in teams and strive to achieve common goals, where compromising and sharing information and knowledge comes naturally to you. You are communicative and clear, with the ability to listen actively to understand others' perspectives as well as to give and receive constructive feedback.

Employment Terms

• Type of Employment: Permanent position.
• Duration: 6 months or longer.
• Start Date: 2026-08-10.
• Working Hours: Daytime.
