We are looking for a Sales Coordinator – Chemical Analysis with a focus on Environment.
We are seeking a driven and relationship-building Sales Coordinator who wants to be part of ALS Scandinavia's sales team. In this role, you will combine strategic account management with operational sales work and quotation handling – all within the framework of our wide range of chemical analyses with a focus on the environmental segment.
You will be responsible for a defined portfolio of key accounts and will actively work to identify, visit, and develop new business opportunities. In parallel, you will handle incoming analysis requests, draft quotations and contracts, and follow up on these – both through direct customer meetings and via digital channels such as email and phone.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Primary responsibility for selected key accounts and business development within relevant market segments.
- Actively prospecting and processing new customers within the environmental sector.
- Advising on chemical analyses and creating customized quotations and contracts.
- Follow-up on quotation and contract proposals.
- Contact with subcontractors.
- Gathering and processing customer requirements and implementing them internally.
- Qualifying potential customers.
We are looking for someone who
Has a university-level education in natural sciences, preferably with a focus on chemistry, environment, or similar. Experience from a commercial laboratory is an advantage, as is a background in sales, marketing, or the environmental industry. We also welcome recent graduates with the right personality and drive.
As a person, you are:
- Outgoing, proactive, and customer-focused.
- Structured with good ability to plan and prioritize your own work.
- Relationship-building and keen on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Result-oriented and motivated by working towards clear goals.
- Business-minded with a commercial mindset and good team spirit.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
