RESPONSIBILITIES

As a building inspector with us, you will have a varied and developing assignment where you combine authority enforcement with service, advice, and community building. You work with the processing of building permit cases, technical consultations, review of control plans, and assessments based on both building legislation and building technical requirements. The position includes a certain degree of supervision.

In this role, you have many contact points and are an important representative of the municipality in dialogue with applicants, property owners, companies, and other stakeholders. You review drawings, make decisions, lead consultation meetings, and present cases before the Building and Environment Committee. Through your competence, you contribute guidance and clarity in matters that affect both individual projects and the municipality's overall development. You become part of an engaged context where we value collaboration, professional treatment, and the desire to develop both the operations and our working methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have relevant university education or other building technical education, or alternatively experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have good knowledge of planning and building legislation and feel confident in making professional assessments. Experience from municipal operations is meritorious, as well as experience regarding system administration and development.

You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have good knowledge of English. A category B driver's license is a requirement.
