We are currently recruiting Parking Attendants for our office in Västerås.

About the role As a parking attendant with us, you have an important function and are offered a varied and enjoyable job with great freedom under your own responsibility. The work involves parking surveillance within an assigned area (private property). Through your presence in the field with a patrol vehicle and on foot, you provide the service and assistance needed to ensure parking regulations are followed, and together we work to ensure high satisfaction and good accessibility. The job offers great variety, significant freedom, and an important responsibility.

For example, you will:

• Patrol your work area by car and on foot.
• Ensure that parking regulations are followed.
• Ensure that correct and clear signage is present within the area.
• Issue fines when necessary.
• Assist our customers on-site with parking-related questions.
• Assist our customers on-site with questions regarding our digital services.

The position is a permanent part-time employment with a 60% workload, with a start date to be agreed upon. Hours vary according to the schedule, and night and weekend work may occur. We apply a 6-month probationary period, and our parking attendants operate out of our office in Västerås.

About you

To be a good fit for this position, you have a positive attitude, social skills, and act with sound judgment. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail; taking responsibility comes naturally to you. Simply put, you are an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes the people around you feel safe.

Requirements for the position:

• Hold a B-class driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Previous experience in a service profession

Merits:

• Previous experience as a parking attendant
• Previous experience in security
