Job Responsibilities

As a recess educator/teacher in the recess school (fritidshem) at Vasaskolan, you will be part of a team of dedicated and competent colleagues. Together, you will be responsible for teaching and pedagogical work in the recess school through systematic quality work. You will plan, implement, evaluate, and document the activities with the students' learning, security, and well-being in focus.

You will also teach the subject of Art in grades 2–6 and collaborate closely with the school's teachers, as you play an important role during the students' school day as a recess educator.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated and qualified as a recess educator/teacher in the recess school with a focus on Art. You have knowledge of the curriculum documents and the ability to translate this into practical operations. You are a clear, responsible, and engaged educator who, through a calm and conscious approach, can create good and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike.

You have high expectations of students and a good ability to motivate and inspire them to learn during both recess time and school time.
