The operations of the Education Administration have developed strongly over the past ten years, with improved student results, high levels of satisfaction and security, and not least, one of Sweden's highest rates of qualified teachers. We aim to capture every child's and student's desire to learn and encourage every individual to want to develop.

About the Workplace

Lindö School is located in a beautiful natural setting almost in the middle of the city. We are within walking distance of the sea, the city center, and fantastic nature. Lindö School has approximately 320 students from preschool class to grade 6. Grades F-3 are located on Lindövägen, while grades 4-6 and the communal special education group are located on Gröndalsvägen.

If a student needs more support than their home school can offer, there are communal special education groups (KSU) with specialized competence. These groups are placed in primary schools within the municipality. This autumn, an additional group for preschool class to grade 3, as well as an after-school program, will start at Lindö School. The special education group at Lindö School covers the entire municipality as its catchment area. The group, which has space for 5-6 students, has adapted and secluded premises at Gröndalsvägen 17.

Together, we make a Kalmar for everyone even better. We are looking for you who want to help shape and develop this important operation.
