Your Responsibilities

In the role of Purchaser within Aftermarket, you work operationally with the daily handling of purchasing spare parts and aftermarket products, with a focus on ensuring availability and fast deliveries. You are responsible for placing orders, following up on orders, and actively monitoring deliveries to act quickly in case of deviations or delays. A large part of the job involves handling urgent needs, for example during machine downtime or customer-critical cases, where you need to make quick decisions and find solutions together with suppliers. You work continuously in the business system to update purchase orders, adjust quantities, and ensure current delivery dates. Furthermore, you follow up on inventory levels and contribute to ensuring that the right articles are available, while also being involved in simpler inventory control such as reorder points and balance checks. You have ongoing contact with suppliers regarding prices, deliveries, and availability, and collaborate closely with internal functions such as warehouse, service, and customer support to ensure an efficient flow and high service level. The role also includes elements of improvement work, where you identify recurring problems in the operational flow and contribute to more efficient working methods in everyday life.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, or engineering, or alternatively have equivalent experience that is assessed as comparable. You have previously worked with purchasing for a number of years, preferably within industry or manufacturing, and are accustomed to handling operational purchasing flows in an environment where speed and delivery security are crucial. You are independent in your work and take responsibility for driving your processes forward in a structured and methodical way. At the same time, you have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy handling both planned and urgent needs, where you need to make quick and well-founded decisions. We see that you have good analytical skills and work commercially in your purchasing decisions, with an understanding of the balance between cost, availability, and service level. You are used to working with data and feel confident analyzing materials related to, for example, inventory, demand, and delivery precision. As a person, you are communicative and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces, where you collaborate closely with both internal functions and external suppliers. You have a good ability to create and maintain professional relationships and contribute to efficient collaboration in daily work. You master Swedish and English well, both in speech and writing, and have good system competence. Experience working in business systems is considered an advantage.
