Kalix Folk High School is beautifully located at the mouth of the Kalix River, a couple of kilometers from Kalix center in Norrbotten County. The school is managed by SV:s (Adult Education Association Norrbotten). Today, Kalix Folk High School offers educational alternatives for approximately 250 students each year, making us a relatively large folk high school with roots dating back to 1939.

The school offers both on-site courses and distance learning programs in various fields, providing a diverse range of options.

Knowledge is today's most sought-after resource, and at Kalix Folk High School, we strive to contribute to adult education with the vision of keeping every individual in focus.

We are now looking to strengthen our teaching team and are seeking a teacher for the Film and Series course.

We are looking for someone who wants to help shape the filmmakers of tomorrow and is passionate about supporting others in pursuing a career in the exciting film world. We believe that you, the applicant, have a solid background in film and series production with good insight into the industry and a broad network. We are looking for a team player who has the ability to share your knowledge with others. You must have the desire and genuine commitment to create something unique for our participants.

Our Film and Series course is primarily structured as a distance learning program with a few physical meetings per year at Kalix Folk High School. Therefore, strong digital skills are considered an asset.

Experience from adult education (folkbildning) is also an asset. Our vision is FUTURE, which also reflects the flexibility present in society and mirrors our operations.
