The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) are part of the county's operations in anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care. We care for patients in need of intensive care as well as patients who are too ill to be treated on a regular ward (IMCU patients). We also staff the post-operative ward. On the ICU/IMCU, anesthesiologists, nurses, and nursing assistants work together in patient care. The nurse works in a team with a nursing assistant. If you join us as a new colleague, you will receive individualized onboarding with an experienced colleague. You have great opportunities to influence your schedule as we create preference-based schedules. Working hours are arranged in three shifts.

We are now looking for an ICU/Anesthesia Nurse to join our team! The position is a permanent full-time employment with a temporary placement with us at the ICU/IMCU. Start date by agreement.

As a nurse with us, you will among other things work with:

• Responsibility for the patient's nursing care
• Monitoring of vital parameters
• Medication management and implementation of decided treatments
• Assisting and preparing the patient for examinations and treatments
• Sampling
• Handling medical technical products safely
• Supporting, informing, and involving relatives in patient care with an ethnic perspective

• Are a licensed nurse with specialist education in ICU or anesthesia
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

• Have experience working in emergency care
• Have previously worked on an intensive care unit
• Have additional language skills

• Personal maturity
• Flexible
• Stable
