About the Department

The Infectious Diseases Clinic is part of the County Operations Lung/Skin/Infection and is responsible for the entire county of Västernorrland, which has a population of 245,000. We strive to achieve high-quality care in our daily operations and contribute to maintaining, developing, and improving patient safety, accessibility, and care quality in accordance with our goals. The Infectious Diseases Clinic is based in Sundsvall and has county-wide responsibility for infectious disease care throughout Västernorrland. Each year, we admit approximately 6,800 patients.

We are now looking for a Specialist Physician for the Infectious Diseases Clinic in Sundsvall. The position is a permanent, full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

Responsibilities

As a specialist physician, you will work with independent on-call duties and ward rounds during holidays. Your main responsibilities include being in charge of medical investigation, assessment, and treatment of patients.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a specialist physician in infectious diseases.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you:

• Hold a valid Category B driver's license.
