About the operations

Regional Psychiatry and Rehabilitation coordinates regional healthcare for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as rehabilitation in Region Västernorrland. The regional healthcare operations are conducted at three hospitals, Sundsvall, Sollefteå and Örnsköldsvik, and at a number of clinics located in several locations in the county. Ward 7 is a psychiatric ward with a clear addiction profile for acute and planned abstinence treatment, initiation and discontinuation of medication.

We are now looking for two nursing assistants/treatment assistants for our ward! The operations run around the clock and the working hours are scheduled for day, evening, night and weekends, which requires your ability to work 3 shifts and weekends. The position is a full-time temporary assignment with start date as agreed, until 2027-02-28.

Job Responsibilities

The work as a nursing assistant/treatment assistant with us includes, in addition to psychiatric care, also:

• Assessments
• Observations
• Conversations
• Rating scales
• Sample collection

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have a valid nursing assistant education, treatment assistant education or other education that the employer considers equivalent
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have work experience within psychiatric care
• Have supplementary education within the field of addiction

It is meritorious if you

• Have an education within psychiatry and addiction
