About the Role

FEBR is a business project that introduces electronic batch records (EBR), a new solution for label design and printing, as well as a modern solution for system integration through a new MES system (Manufacturing Execution System).

The changes in FEBR affect several of APL's functions and employees. The MES system will have over 250 users. FEBR is APL's largest single digitalization initiative to date.

You will join a cross-functional project team, becoming part of the manufacturing team in Umeå's builder group for electronic batch records, which consists of four additional members.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our solutions function as intended and evolve over time.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Quality assurance and testing of functions in built EBRs before production release.
  • Coordinating and driving tests together with the business operations (superusers).
  • Building new EBRs based on data from existing batch records.
  • Improving methods and workflows related to testing and development.

You will work closely with operations and other functions to ensure that the solutions meet needs and requirements.

This is a project position starting as soon as possible until 2027-06-01. You will be based in Umeå.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has post-secondary education in areas such as data, life science, quality systems, or similar.
  • Has relevant work experience with IT systems, testing, quality assurance, or system work.

The following qualifications are meritorious:

  • Experience with EBR (Electronic Batch Record).
  • Experience with data-driven development.
  • Experience with MasterControl.
  • Experience working in a GxP environment.

As a person, you have a structured approach to work, are meticulous and efficient, collaborate well, communicate effectively with different target groups, take responsibility, and drive your work forward.

What we offer:

APL is characterized by an open and dynamic atmosphere with short decision-making paths. To thrive here, our values – business-minded, responsive, solution-oriented, and responsible – should align with your own.

All employees have an individual development plan and clear goals that are continuously followed up. This gives everyone the opportunity to influence their own situation and contribute to our joint development, and we actively encourage internal mobility.

You will have access to a benefits portal where we gather our benefits and offers, such as wellness allowances and meal benefits. We have collective agreements with Unionen and SACO, including associated benefits such as occupational pension, insurance, flexible working hours, and extra days off. Wellness groups on all sites organize various types of activities.

Application: The last day for applications is 2026-07-05. Apply via the link in the advertisement. We do not accept applications via email. We work with a rolling selection process, and during holiday periods, the process may take longer. Start date by agreement.

For information: If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact us via email: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])

Other: Prior to any employment, you will be required to undergo an alcohol/drug test, and we will conduct a background check on you via Bakgrundskollen.se.

We look forward to sharing an exciting future with you at APL!
