Job Responsibilities

As a treatment assistant at Enberga co-occurring disorders housing, your main tasks are to provide support to individuals based on their conditions and needs. The support measures can be extensive and include many everyday situations. You will work on building good therapeutic relationships and contribute to ensuring our clients receive the safety and security they need to break habitual behaviors.

Individual conversations and motivational work focusing on the client's substance abuse issues and/or mental well-being are part of the role. Some health care tasks are included based on delegation. Interventions must be documented in the journal system LifeCare.

You will work strategically and purposefully on pedagogical work together with your colleagues and the housing's nurse. We work according to current legislation, which means we document daily according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The work is performed in shifts with day, evening, and weekend passes according to the schedule.

In social psychiatry, you work to provide support to people with mental disabilities and substance abuse issues from a salutogenic approach. The salutogenic approach means that the work is focused on making everyday life meaningful, comprehensible, and manageable for the individual.

The Care and Social Services Administration is currently undergoing a major change journey where cooperation is a comprehensive part. For this reason, work at other units may occur.

Qualifications

You need to be educated as a treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or have other education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience working with addiction care and/or psychiatric care is desirable. It is of great importance that you, as an applicant, have good competence regarding the target group.

We want you to speak fluent Swedish and have a driver's license for both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

It is important that you are an empathetic person driven by a strong inner passion to make a difference. You have the ability to create security, stability, and contribute the qualities that help residents be motivated to help themselves toward a more independent life.

Co-occurring disorders present special challenges, often with fluctuations in well-being. It is therefore important to be able to handle the target group's needs in a respectful and humble manner.

You are secure, stable, and controlled in pressured or challenging situations. The ability to distinguish between the personal and professional and to act in a way adapted to the situation is highly appreciated by us. You are self-reliant and take responsibility for your task. If you also structure and drive the work independently, it is an advantage.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability and qualities.
