Are you a driven Systems Engineer with a passion for advanced technology and a desire to shape the battlefields of the future? Saab Dynamics is looking for key personnel to join our teams developing the next generation of Ground Combat systems.

Your Role

In the role of Systems Engineer at Saab Dynamics Ground Combat, you will work on the development of advanced anti-tank systems as well as systems for countering other land-based threats.

A significant part of the work involves understanding the capabilities required by the customer and the expectations of other stakeholders. These needs are translated into a technical view demonstrating how the requested capability can be met. The role includes defining system architecture, measurable requirements, integration plans, verification, and validation. We follow and adapt our technical work based on our business system, planning and conducting technical reviews. We handle system-level issues at a higher level, which may involve travel and collaboration with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FM and FMV), foreign customers, and partners.

Your Profile

We are looking for a driven Systems Engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment where we constantly strive to improve our working methods and deliver innovative solutions at a rapid pace. We are looking for you who have several years of experience in the technical development of complex systems, with a broad interest and understanding of how mechanics, electronics, and software are integrated and interact.

We believe you hold a Master's degree or equivalent. You have a knack for working in a structured manner, taking initiative, demonstrating good self-leadership, and being proactive in seeking information. It is important that you have a sense for the holistic perspective and have been involved long enough to have a good feel for when it is time to take the next step in development.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance procedures according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.

The location for this position is Karlskoga, Karlstad, or Solna. Travel between sites may occur.
