The Role of IT Infrastructure Manager

Vakin is undergoing a transformation journey where IT and digitalization through new technology are key enablers for sustainably complying with new legal requirements, delivering high availability, and meeting the increased demands of a growing population. As an IT Infrastructure Manager at Vakin, you will be a key resource primarily responsible for ensuring professional system administration for all IT systems. You will also serve as the responsible system administrator for two of our most critical business systems. Additionally, you will be involved in other IT-related matters and decisions, working closely with other staff within the section.

The Business Support department is tasked with supporting Vakin's core operations. The department is responsible for the operation, administration, and development of the company's IT support, as well as Vakin's sustainability, quality, environmental, and safety work, registry, internal service, and the operation and maintenance of approximately 300+ buildings.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Driving, unifying, and developing the overall administration work within the company
• Specific administrative responsibility for our business-critical maintenance systems, IDUS and VA Banken
• Close collaboration with operations to capture needs and translate them into system support development
• Planning and conducting workshops
• Change management

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an engaged employee with relevant education in IT, systems science, or equivalent work experience. Competence in or experience with maintenance is an advantage. We value strong collaboration skills and the ability to relate to colleagues in a listening and smooth manner. We want you to take initiative, start activities, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive your processes forward independently. You are accustomed to working towards goals, focusing on results, and we appreciate your ability to quickly adapt your perspective and approach when circumstances change. You have several years of experience in relevant areas and are used to handling systems and their administration in a strategic manner. Furthermore, you have good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish, and you are thorough and questioning by nature.

The following qualifications are considered meritorious:

• Knowledge or certification in administration models, e.g., PM3
• Experience from IDUS and/or VA Banken or equivalent systems
• Knowledge within the Maintenance domain, e.g., Process Industry
• Experience managing an administration organization
• Experience working with change processes

Additional Information

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon. A probationary period may apply.
