The role of System Administrator

Vakin is undergoing a transformation where IT and digitalization through new technology are key enablers for sustainably complying with new legal requirements, delivering high availability, and meeting the increasing demands of a growing population. As a System Administrator here, you will be responsible for several of our IT systems and manage their administration. Naturally, you will also be involved in other IT-related questions and decisions and work closely with the rest of the staff within the section.

Business Support is tasked with supporting Vakin's core operations. The department is responsible for the operation, administration, and development of the company's IT support and is also responsible for, for example, Vakin's sustainability, quality, environmental, and safety work, registry, internal service, as well as property operation and maintenance of approx. +300 buildings.

Your responsibilities will include among other things:

• Administration responsibility for several different IT systems
• Be part of the system administration group where you are expected to actively contribute to development and improvement
• Close collaboration with the business to capture needs and translate them into system support development
• Plan and conduct workshops
• Change management

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an engaged employee with relevant education in IT, systems science, or equivalent work experience. We see that you have good collaboration skills and can relate to your colleagues in a listening and smooth manner. We want you to take initiative, start activities, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive your processes forward on your own. You are used to working towards goals, focusing on results, and we would like to see that you can quickly change your perspective and approach in changing circumstances. You have several years of experience in relevant areas and are used to handling systems and their administration in a strategic way. Furthermore, you have a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and are careful and questioning by nature.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• knowledge or certification in management models e.g., PM3
• worked as a system administrator previously
• experience working with changes

Other information

The position is for a permanent full-time employment with start date as agreed. We may apply a probationary period.
