At Forenede Care, we are looking for a nursing assistant who wants to work during the whole or part of the summer at our cozy nursing home on Tullkvarnsvägen!

As a nursing assistant at Forenede Care, you work to provide good care, service, and healthcare to our residents.

Tullkvarnsvägen is a specialized housing facility focusing on somatic care with 50 places. The facility is beautifully located with nature nearby and the Indalsälven river in the vicinity.

Here, you will have competent and dedicated managers who support and develop you in your role as a nursing assistant and in your development at Forenede Care. We run a company where you grow together with us.

In the role of nursing assistant, you will perform care and support based on the client's wishes and in accordance with current assistance decisions, with a strong focus on quality. This includes tasks such as personal hygiene, helping with meal preparation and serving, answering alarms, and social interaction. Social interaction can include conversations, games, bike rides, music activities, or similar. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and training.

As a summer substitute, you have good chances of receiving new temporary assignments or permanent employment.

Job Description

We are currently looking for 2 nursing assistants/care assistants on a part-time basis for summer employment until week 33, with the possibility of extension. The workload is approximately 80-90%, with a start date to be agreed upon.

These 2 positions will be during day shifts and every other weekend. It is a resource role where you work on all wards in the building and cover for days with short-term absences.

If there are no short-term absences on a given day, you might, for example, support a ward that is understaffed, accompany residents on outings, or lead activities.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

• It is an advantage if you are a certified nursing assistant and can provide a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.
