The Role of Dietitian

We are now looking for a registered dietitian for the Rehabilitation Centre Höglandet who wants to become part of a curious, forward-looking dietitian group with a high ceiling! Together, we form a central resource both within inpatient and outpatient care in the region, based at Högland Hospital in Eksjö. We meet our patients both at the hospital and digitally. We match our respective specialist competencies against the needs of our patients within psychiatric care.

The position is permanent and full-time, with a start date to be agreed upon. Over the years, we have developed a well-functioning structure for remote work, and we are happy to discuss this possibility with you.

Your Future Workplace

The Rehabilitation Centre is a county clinic that delivers specialized rehabilitation across the entire county. The operations are primarily centered at Högland Hospital in Eksjö, the County Hospital Ryhov in Jönköping, as well as Värnamo Hospital, and the clinic has approximately 300 employees in total.

At Rehabilitation Centre Höglandet, we are about 80 employees. We are: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, speech therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and administrative staff, and we all work closely with our collaborating clinics - in this case, the psychiatric clinic Höglandet and at the County Hospital Ryhov.

Eksjö is the unique wooden town located on the Småland highlands. Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a registered dietitian. Experience working within psychiatric inpatient and outpatient care as well as digital patient work is an advantage.

In daily work, you will be part of interdisciplinary teams around the patient - both with other rehabilitation staff and with doctors and nurses. Some educational activities are also included in the position. For example, you could be the one lecturing at the patient school or training healthcare staff on nutrition. You also work in our outpatient care, where you independently assess, treat, and follow up patients individually, in groups, or digitally, depending on what fits best. You serve as an important competence resource in your consultative role towards nurses and doctors in primary care. In this way, you contribute to good and close care being provided locally for more people.
