Your new job
Here you will have the opportunity to follow patients over a longer period. As a nurse with us, you are responsible for both planned and acute healthcare interventions in the individual's home, regardless of housing type. You meet both younger and older patients, and collaborate closely with primary and secondary care to ensure safe and high-quality care from a holistic perspective.
The work is based on person-centered and health-promoting care, where you support the patient's participation and influence, identify resources, prevent health risks, and motivate changes in lifestyle factors. Your duties include among other things:

Welcome to us
Health and Medical Care Team 3 is part of the Health and Medical Care function (HS) in Jönköping Municipality, which consists of 13 cross-professional health and medical care teams and a home team. We have specializations in psychiatry, palliative care, home rehabilitation, dementia, and disability care. Together, we are approximately 460 engaged employees.
HS Team 3 is a cohesive team with a high pace and great engagement, consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. In cross-professional teams, we create good and safe care.
We work in the area around Skärstad, Kaxholmen, Norrängen, Brunnstorp, parts of central Huskvarna, Vättersnäs, and Öxnehaga. In the catchment area, there are four elderly care homes: Mjölkafållan Elderly Care Home, Rosendala Elderly Care Home, Skärstadal Elderly Care Home, and Öxnebacka Elderly Care Home.
The work group operates from the team premises on Engelbrektsgatan in Huskvarna.
Good to know
The recruitment is for permanent full-time positions with start date as agreed. The positions are filled on the condition that the current office holders are accepted into the sought-after education.
Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening and weekend shifts are also included. Weekend work occurs approximately every fifth week at present. During evenings and weekends, we collaborate over a larger geographical area together with HS Teams 1 and 2.
Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period. An offer of employment in another HS team in the area may become relevant.
