Job Description

Our team at AFRY Infrastructure Water North is now looking for a Senior Engineer in Water & Wastewater Processes. You will work on projects related to water and wastewater treatment at local and regional levels, collaborating nationally and internationally with other consultants within AFRY.

The role involves working on feasibility studies, developing processes for water treatment and sludge management, process optimization, creating concept proposals, tender documents, and working with design in various phases. Each assignment is unique and requires a tailored team structure adapted to the specific project.

You will work on assignments throughout the country, and travel will be involved, but you will have one of our local offices as your permanent workplace.

Qualifications

Academically, we look for a degree as a Civil Engineer, University College Engineer, or Natural Scientist with a specialization in water and wastewater treatment technology, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering, or another degree deemed equivalent. Alternatively, you may have acquired equivalent skills through industry experience. You have at least eight years of experience in municipal water and/or wastewater treatment technology. Consulting experience is considered a merit.

As AFRY is an international company, we expect you to be proficient in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, to meet the needs of our customers.
