We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a global company manufacturing gypsum boards in Bålsta. You will work in an industrial environment alongside a competent and engaged team where collaboration, responsibility, and precision are key.

This assignment is part of our staffing services, meaning you are employed by Yourstaff but work on-site at the client’s premises.

Working hours: Daytime or two-shift system, on-call duties and standby may occur

Job Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you are responsible for ensuring stable and efficient production through preventive and corrective maintenance. The role is varied and includes among other things:

• Repair and maintenance of production equipment and machinery
• Mechanical installations and improvement projects
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving during operational disruptions
• Electrical work in connection with repairs and maintenance
• Welding and manufacturing of smaller machine parts as needed

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Upper secondary education or equivalent in mechanics, industry, or electrical engineering
• Basic computer skills
• At least 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance or repairs
• Preference given to candidates with experience in electrical work and cabling
• Good physical condition and enjoy practical work
• A strong technical interest and good problem-solving skills
