About the role

Luotea is responsible for the facility management of Södersjukhuset (South Hospital) and handles all technical systems, with the exception of medical technical installations. As operations develop, a large number of construction and installation projects are carried out. Our project group is responsible for the execution in the production phase and is now looking for a technical control and regulation coordinator who is dedicated to project activities. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, technical specialists, the operations organization, and contractors, becoming a key person in our projects.

You will take on significant technical responsibility and work with the integration, renovation, and adaptation of the building's control and monitoring systems in an environment with high demands on functionality, operational safety, and planning. The role involves acting as technical support to project managers regarding control and regulation issues, while independently driving and ensuring the quality of technical solutions. This is an engineering role focused on project execution, system understanding, and technical requirement specification.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the planning and coordination of control contractors at various stages of the projects
• Reviewing documentation and ensuring technical solutions from an operational and system perspective
• Participating in construction meetings and technical reviews together with project management
• Coordinating integration with existing control and monitoring systems
• Leading or participating in testing, functional checks, and commissioning
• Ensuring that systems meet requirements according to documentation, regulatory prescriptions, and operational needs
• Contributing technical expertise in the selection of system solutions and the construction of new facility parts
• Ensuring that documentation, as-built drawings, and operation manuals are produced and handed over according to project requirements

Södersjukhuset is security-classified, which means you will undergo a security clearance check prior to employment.

About you

To thrive in this role, you are a structured and solution-oriented person with a strong technical interest and good system understanding. You are accustomed to working in projects, making independent decisions, taking responsibility for your deliverables, and collaborating with other disciplines. You have the ability to see the big picture in technical systems and understand the importance of adapting solutions to an operation with high demands on operational safety and continuity.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• Post-secondary education in control and regulation technology, automation, or equivalent experience
• +5 years of experience working with building automation and control systems, preferably in a project environment
• Good ability to read and review technical descriptions, flowcharts, and operation cards
• Experience with testing, functional checks, and commissioning
• Good understanding of system structure in complex buildings
• Good proficiency in Swedish (written and spoken)
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious qualifications

• Experience working in hospitals or other mission-critical environments
• Experience with integration into higher-level control and monitoring systems (SCADA)
• Knowledge in energy optimization and systems for monitoring energy data
• Experience working in project organizations
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or equivalent
• Experience coordinating between control, ventilation, heating, and cooling
