Boliden Zinkgruvan is now looking for a Team Leader for Geological Service within the Mining Department.

Job Description

We are looking for you who are interested in working with us at Boliden Zinkgruvan as a Team Leader for our Geological Service group. Geological Service handles archiving, warehouse management, logistics, and sample preparation of Boliden Zinkgruvan's diamond drill cores.

Main areas of responsibility/tasks for the position include:

• Lead the team and ensure that the group delivers according to set schedules and goals through daily supervision.
• Responsibility for the drill core and warehouse archive, as well as archiving and logistics. Ensure order and discipline in these areas.
• Sawing, packing, and handling of drill cores for both the Geological Group and the Exploration Department.
• Photography, density measurement, and sample preparation of diamond drill cores.
• Grinding core boxes (storage boxes for diamond drill cores) as needed to extend their lifespan for reuse.

Requirements for the position

• Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma)
• Category B driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• At least 3 years of experience in warehousing/logistics

Merits

• Forklift license (A1)
• Previous experience in a leadership role
