About the role

Are you a nurse and looking for a job that is fun, varied and developmental? Then the Intermediate Care Unit (IMA) at Sundsvall Hospital might be what you are looking for!

Intermediate care (IMA) is a form of care between intensive care and a regular ward where patients with failing vital functions are monitored and treated. The unit is an integrated part of the ICU where you and an experienced ICU assistant nurse work together and are responsible for two patients in close collaboration with anesthesiologists and other ICU staff.

As three of our colleagues have chosen to specialize in intensive care, we are now looking for nurses for IMA! The positions are permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement.

Responsibilities

The work may suit you if you are considering further education, as you will take on more advanced tasks and get a glimpse into intensive care. The role suits you who are engaged, positive and have an interest in more advanced and technical healthcare. You will among other things work with:

• Care and monitoring of patients with threatened or failing single organ systems.
• Teamwork with highly competent colleagues as well as more advanced tasks where you are responsible for two patients.
• The work is varied and is carried out in close collaboration with intensive care nurses, assistant nurses, specialist assistant nurses, doctors and physiotherapists.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

• Have experience of hospital care
