We are now looking for a Buyer for a growing company in Finspång. The position is full-time and initially covers a period of 1 year with the possibility of extension.

About the role

This is a broad and varied role where you will work both operationally and developmentally within purchasing and logistics.

An important part of the role involves creating better structure and foresight in the purchasing process. The company currently sees a strong need to further develop foresight and planning within purchasing to strengthen delivery security and create even better forward flows. Therefore, we are looking for you who understand purchasing flows and the importance of working proactively and analytically.

You will work closely with all individuals in the organization, participating in the development of methods, routines, and systems related to purchasing and material flows.

This role suits you if you thrive in a smaller company where people help each other, take responsibility, and work together without hierarchy.

Examples of tasks

• Purchasing work
• Register incoming deliveries in business systems and ensure correct stock balances
• Operational and proactive purchasing work
• Analysis of material needs and delivery planning
• Ensure that purchases are made in good time to meet delivery requirements and deadlines
• Contact with suppliers and internal functions
• Handling of transport and logistics flows within Sweden as well as to, among other places, Norway and Iceland
• Participate in developing routines, methods, and processes regarding purchasing and systems
• Collaborate with order administration and management regarding improvement work
• At times, help practically in the operations, for example with packing or similar tasks.

What we are looking for

We believe you have previous experience in purchasing, order administration, or similar roles where you have worked with material flows and planning.

Education in purchasing or logistics is meritorious but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you understand how purchasing and flows work in practice.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to:

• Have experience in purchasing and order handling
• Understand the importance of foresight and proactive purchasing work
• Have good system familiarity and an easy time learning new systems
• Are accustomed to working in Excel
• Have analytical skills and enjoy creating structure
• Are self-initiating and proactive
• Thrive in a role where you get to develop methods and routines
• Are non-hierarchical and helpful as a person
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and feel comfortable using English at work

• Working hours: General office hours
• Start: August 2026 (week 34–35)
