The role of Nurse with us

Together, we take responsibility for having fun at work every day and being a supportive team. We contribute and share knowledge and experience to make the assignment as good and challenging as possible.

The work involves dialogue and collaboration with several actors, where cooperation and problem-solving are a large part of the job. As a nurse specializing in home care in the patient's ordinary residence (living at home) or in a special care facility (care and nursing home), you are responsible in your professional role for leading the nursing work and, together with other employees, making a joint assessment of the patient's need for healthcare, rehabilitation, and care.

The work is very independent, but you will be part of a team consisting of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and assistant nurses. The position includes weekend shifts where you will work out in the field with the home care service throughout the municipality.

Responsibilities include, among other things:

• managing medications
• administering infusions
• managing medication pumps and other medical technology equipment
• making medical assessments based on each specific situation
• performing procedures and follow-ups
• providing telephone advice to nursing staff

As a nurse in home care, you work with many different systems or digital solutions, for example, digital key management, the medical record system Combine, the planning system Lifecare, the digital signature system Alfa, and incident reporting via DF-respons.

Your profile

You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a functional and efficient manner. You are problem-solving, have good collaboration skills, and a flexible approach to your work. As a person, you are empathetic and have the ability to meet customers' differences in a professional manner. The work is largely independent and requires you to be proactive, driven, and self-reliant. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a registered nurse
• has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken, as this is required in daily work
• holds a B-class driver's license

About us at the Home Care Service

The Home Care Service in Kungsbacka Municipality is a large organization with nearly 200 employees, including nurses/public health nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. The Home Care Service is responsible for healthcare interventions for patients of all ages who are enrolled in the home care service. Patients live in ordinary housing, in care and nursing homes, group homes, short-term accommodation, or attend day activities in the municipality. In close dialogue with the patient and relatives, we shape good and safe care. The Home Care Service is organized into several geographical areas: West, East, North, Center, South, On-call/Resource, and Smedjan.

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.
