About the Role

As Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing, and driving the maintenance organization at our facility in Köping. You have personnel responsibility for the maintenance team and work closely with production, technology, and management to ensure high availability and stable operation of our machinery.

The role is both strategic and operational. A large part of your task involves developing the organization, creating efficient working methods, and building a strong team. At the same time, we are a company where leaders are close to the operations. Therefore, we appreciate that you still enjoy getting a little grease on your fingers occasionally and can contribute your technical experience in more complex troubleshooting, breakdowns, or improvement projects.

You don't lead from the sidelines – you are part of the team.

Our machinery fleet includes, among other things, CNC machines, multi-operation machines, lathes, grinding and gear cutting machines, as well as various automation solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team
• Ensure a safe, stable, and efficient maintenance operation
• Be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance
• Develop maintenance strategies, processes, and working methods
• Drive improvement work and root cause analyses
• Be responsible for planning, resources, and prioritization
• Participate in investment and development projects
• Collaborate with production, technology, suppliers, and external partners
• Contribute operationally when needed in technically advanced matters

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who combine technical knowledge with natural leadership.

You have:

• A technical education in areas such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or industrial production
• Several years of experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry
• Experience in leadership or a strong desire to take the next step as a leader
• A good understanding of modern production and maintenance work
• Experience in improvement work and change management

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• CNC machining
• Automation and Industry 4.0
• Maintenance systems
• Lean Production or TPM
