Your new role

You will belong to the Process & Plant unit at our office in Västerås and work with qualified assignments within heat and cold production. The assignments are often linked to district heating or district cooling systems but can also involve energy supply for industries. The assignments will range from preliminary studies and investigations to leading roles in implementation projects. As a leading consultant within district heating and cooling, we are also engaged for specialist assignments such as plant valuations, due diligence, business project management, and R&D.

You will be the project manager, which means responsibility for both the execution of the assignment and our business with the customer. At the same time, you will have access to a large number of competent colleagues as resources or sounding boards in your assignments, as we at FVB strive for a high degree of cooperation, both within and between groups and offices.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are an engaged engineer with experience of projects within heat and cold production, preferably as a consultant. You are used to working in a project format and thrive on collaborating to achieve project goals.

You have a university degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant engineering direction, or equivalent post-secondary education. All experience from production plants is meritorious, such as mechanical design, process dimensioning, project experience, as well as operation and maintenance experience.

You master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing and have good knowledge of English. A B-driver's license is a requirement as travel for work occurs.

Employment form and recruitment process

The position is a permanent full-time employment with placement at the headquarters in Västerås. Applications are handled continuously depending on availability during the holiday period. Work psychological tests and background checks will be relevant in the selection process.
