About the role Do you want to work in a modern production environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are in focus? Lamiflex is now looking for an engaged and responsible operator for our extrusion operations in Nyköping.

As an operator in extrusion, you are responsible for running and monitoring the extrusion process according to established instructions. You ensure that production maintains the correct quality, efficiency, and safety levels while contributing to a well-functioning and orderly workplace.

The position involves shift work on either a 2-shift or 3-shift system.

Responsibilities In this role, you will among other things:

  • Start and stop extrusion equipment according to instructions.
  • Monitor process parameters and ensure that production rates are maintained.
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize production.
  • Handle and ensure correct use of materials while minimizing waste.
  • Perform quality controls and ensure that products meet established requirements.
  • Stop production and take action in case of quality deviations or safety risks.
  • Perform changeovers between different products and production batches.
  • Perform cleaning, simple maintenance, and care of equipment.
  • Contribute to good order and cleanliness in the workplace.

Who are you? You have the authority to:

  • Adjust machine parameters within given limits.
  • Stop production in case of risk of injury, quality defects, or production disruptions.
  • Take necessary measures in case of deviations and disruptions.
  • Escalate problems to the responsible manager or technical function when required.
  • Have experience in industrial production.
  • Have knowledge of plastic materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Have good technical understanding and interest in process equipment.
  • Fluently speak and write Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with extrusion.
  • Experience with shift work in the manufacturing industry.
