Emmagården is a specialized housing facility focused on dementia care, located just a short walk from central Mora. We are currently looking for qualified assistant nurses for permanent positions at our short-term ward, Rosen.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee, you will be an important part of our residents' daily lives, contributing to their sense of security and meaningful existence. Your duties include assisting with:

• Personal care
• Meals and nutrition
• Social support

You will also perform delegated tasks from healthcare professionals, such as exercises or medication management.

A very important part of the job is documenting care work in our operational system according to instructions and recommendations from the National Board of Health and Welfare. This involves recording notes about our residents' health and well-being and reporting any changes.

Qualifications

We are looking for:

• Qualified assistant nurses with a valid professional license.

You must have:

• Basic knowledge of hygiene, ergonomics, pathology, and communication.
• Good command of the Swedish language to communicate effectively with residents, relatives, colleagues, and other professionals.

Additional education in areas such as dementia or palliative care is considered an asset.

Skills and Abilities

We are looking for empathetic and sensitive individuals with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.

Working with people with dementia requires the ability to read and respond to individuals based on different needs and conditions, as well as the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

Since you work daily with human interaction, it is important that you can build trust and good relationships both internally and externally.

The administration operates under the Social Board and is responsible for care and support for the elderly and people with physical and mental disabilities, as well as support, counseling, and other measures for children, young people, and adults.
