The Geriatric Centre is a specialist clinic for patients requiring both acute and planned geriatric care and rehabilitation. Interprofessional teams conduct comprehensive assessments of elderly patients' medical, physical, mental, and social functional capacity during illness. Diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation are provided in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on the patient's individual needs.
General Geriatrics, Ward 1, has 20 care beds focusing on subacute general geriatric care and rehabilitation, as well as a so-called "fast track" for taking over patients from the Medical Acute Care Unit (MAVA) and the Infectious Diseases Clinic.
We are very proud to operate a Student Teaching Ward (SUA), where nursing and assistant nurse students care for patients independently under supervision.

You will work according to the 3-3 shift model, with schedules covering days, evenings, and weekends. Start date by agreement.
