Within the Health and Medical Care Administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are united under a single administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Skellefteå local healthcare area includes the Emergency Department, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Centre, the Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, the Centre for Surgical Services, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units strive to provide good and accessible care.

Skellefteå Primary Care's Southern Base Unit consists of the health centres in Anderstorp, Bureå, Burträsk, and Lövånger. Here, we work together to develop primary care.

Bureå Health Centre now needs to strengthen its team with an additional district physician.

Bureå Health Centre, with approximately 3,500 registered patients, is located close to the city, with Skellefteå city centre just 15 minutes away. The town is growing due to its rural and scenic location and its proximity to central Skellefteå. At Bureå Health Centre, you will quickly become "one of the team." Today, our staff includes district physicians, ST-doctors, AT-doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators. Here, community and collaboration are keywords that are truly felt in the walls. We have stable staffing over time and low barriers between colleagues. Work environment, patient safety, and innovation are our guiding principles.

Job Description

As a district physician with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure.

The specialty of general medicine is characterized by the meeting with the patient throughout their life. Competence includes meeting people of all ages with all sorts of health-related problems and independently assessing and treating them. In general medical specialist work, one must also follow an individual's various health problems over time and, in assessing these problems, take the person's entire life situation into account.

You work to a high degree independently, but teamwork with medical colleagues and other professions occurs as a natural part of the job. With us, you have the opportunity to supervise AT, BT, and ST doctors as well as students to become future colleagues.

Duty shifts in the primary care on-call service are included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine. You are meticulous, take great responsibility for your work and workplace, and are confident in your profession. You can work both independently and in a team and have good social competence. We believe you are a curious and creative person who is eager to try new approaches and working methods.

Primary care in Skellefteå is on a development journey towards the primary care of the future, where we would like to include your reflections, experiences, and perspectives. Critical thinking and a positive attitude therefore go hand in hand.

Swedish level C is a requirement.
