About the role

As an employee, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a store sales assistant for our building and tiling department.

Your main tasks will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of duties

• Active sales of the product range within the Flooring/Tiling department.
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsibility for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring within the department.
• Analyze the department's product presentation.
• Be helpful on other departments if needed.

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience or education in flooring and tiling.
• Passionate about offering our customers the best possible service.
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range.
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• Good physical fitness, as some departments require lifting heavy items.
• Counterbalance license (A1-A4 & B1-B4) is an advantage.

Working hours/Duration: Seasonal employment, fixed-term. Scheduled working hours during the day, evening, and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.

Start date: April 1 - September 30, 2026, and June 1 - August 30, 2026.
