Help people live more active lives – Orthopedic Technologist Customer Service Representative in Motala

Do you want to help people achieve greater mobility? We are currently looking for a part-time Orthopedic Technologist Customer Service Representative for our location in Motala. In Östergötland, ForMotion operates at three hospitals: the University Hospital in Linköping, Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping, and the District Hospital in Motala. We have a total of approximately 45 employees, with 8 based in Motala. Through our agreement with Region Östergötland, we provide orthopedic technical care to the region. Our units also feature adjacent shops catering to the growing privately funded healthcare sector.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Orthopedic Technologist Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibility will be working in the shop. You will also assist patients and customers in the reception area as needed, as well as handle administrative tasks. Your duties include:

• Selling shoes, insoles, and orthoses, as well as handling cash register transactions
• Managing and administering shop inventory and stock
• Scheduling appointments and administering patient visits
• Answering phone calls and independently handling and advising on questions arising from calls and visits

Who We Are Looking For

• Completed upper secondary education
• Experience in similar roles
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in the Office package
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing, with good knowledge of English
• Experience in healthcare and/or the orthopedic technical industry is advantageous but not required

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, problem-solving, communicative, receptive, confident, calm, and flexible. You thrive working both independently and in teams, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment with rapid changes. You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your tasks. Additionally, an interest in clinical operations and medical diagnoses is a big plus!

Employment Conditions

Part-time position, 50%, fixed-term contract for 1 year starting in August 2026. We have a collective agreement.
