We are looking for a driven sushi chef for a small fast-food restaurant in the mid-price segment. The restaurant has approximately 20 compact seating places and a high level of ambition regarding quality within reasonable limits. At our place, everyone works together and helps each other with various tasks, although some division of labor occurs with regard to competence.

You are service-oriented and always greet customers in a constructive manner according to good restaurant etiquette. You have a good ability to prepare and plan your work so that you do not run out of time. When stress does occur, you work calmly, self-assuredly, and concentrated without getting stressed out.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in Asian restaurants, or even better, someone with origins or experience of life in Asia. In this way, you blend naturally into an Asian environment with Asian colleagues and convey an exotic experience to non-Asians. Regarding the sushi product, you have a genuine interest in sushi as a dish, with an emphasis on exclusive fast food rather than fine table service, as well as a modern approach to the food type. You are not bound by Japanese tradition but embrace the non-Japanese development, primarily from China.

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare sushi
  • Cut fish
  • Fry sushi eggs and other usual handling of raw materials
  • Prepare both classic and modern sushi
