The Emergency Department at NÄL is the largest in the Region of Västra Götaland with approximately 70,000 visits per year, which also makes us one of the largest in the country. We are now looking for you, a registered nurse who wants to develop the emergency department together with us. As a nurse in NU Hospital's 24/7 care, you will receive an extra allowance.

About the position

The emergency department is a workplace with great variation and changing work pace. As a nurse in the emergency department, you will work with specific nursing care for patients with acute illness and/or injury requiring specialized healthcare. We work with prioritization and assessment of patients based on a structured approach and have value-creating care for patients in focus. The work involves making quick decisions and being able to stay calm in stressful situations. The work gives you a broad variation and great development opportunities as no day is like the other.

About you

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with an engaged and positive attitude. It is meritorious if you have experience of emergency care or are a specialist nurse in a competence area that benefits the operations.

You have an interest in emergency care and are good at building relationships. You like to work in teams with other professional categories while being independent based on your profession. You should be flexible and treat patients, relatives, and colleagues in a trustworthy and respectful manner.
