Do you want to help develop the future of the film industry in Norrbotten? Filmpool Nord is looking for an independent project manager who wants to drive a development project focused on new technology, competence, and collaborations.
About the role
As a project manager at Filmpool Nord, you will play a central role in an EU-funded development project within film, TV, and moving images in Norrbotten. The project is three years long, with the goal of strengthening the film industry in the county. The assignment involves creating conditions for a more competitive, innovative, and sustainable industry, where businesses and creatives in Norrbotten are given the opportunity to develop alongside new technologies and working methods, as well as find new collaborations.
In practice, this means that you plan, drive, and implement various types of activities such as workshops, training sessions, and meeting places. You identify the industry's needs, translate them into concrete initiatives, and ensure they become reality. The role involves many contact points where you build relationships, collaborate with different actors, and bring in external competence to raise the level and create value in the project.
Luleå University of Technology is the project owner, and Filmpool Nord is the project partner. You work independently in your assignment but in close dialogue with colleagues and report to the steering group, LTU, and Tillväxtverket (Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth). This is a role with great freedom to plan and implement the content included in the EU project, where your ability to drive, prioritize, and get things done is crucial.
With us, you get a workplace characterized by creativity, commitment, and trust. We offer great freedom in how you structure your work and a daily routine that varies depending on the project's needs. Together, we contribute to strengthening the region's attractiveness and creating stories that reach far beyond Norrbotten.
About you
We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where you take responsibility and drive work forward. You are accustomed to keeping several parallel processes together and have the ability to create structure without losing momentum. At the same time, you have a natural way of building relationships and creating engagement in others. You enjoy working independently and driving operations toward different goals, where your own drive is a key success factor.
You are confident in social settings, have strong communication skills, and feel comfortable leading meetings, facilitating workshops, and standing in front of groups. You have a solution-oriented approach, where you do not wait for someone else to point out the direction but take responsibility for moving the work forward yourself. You have excellent administrative and reporting skills, both at a detailed level and at a broader overview level.
Since the role involves working in a publicly funded activity, it is important that you have civic knowledge and good judgment and responsibility, both in how you prioritize and how resources are used. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are primarily looking for the right person, someone who thrives in our creative culture and can take ownership of the assignment.
