The Psychosocial Unit is part of the Functional Support operational area within the Welfare Administration. Within this unit, decisions are implemented in accordance with both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities (LSS).

We are now looking for an engaged and goal-oriented support pedagogue for our social psychiatry residences. The position is a permanent full-time role (100%) with a start date of September 1, 2026, or as agreed. Working hours include days, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties. The role of support pedagogue accounts for approximately 20% of the full-time equivalent, and you will work across our three residences: Solsidan, Fyran, and Skytten.

We welcome your application!

Responsibilities

Using a pedagogical approach, you will carry out day-to-day and planned support interventions and activities together with the user. The support interventions are based on the user's individual needs, promote independence and participation, and are carried out with respect for the user's integrity and self-determination.

You are responsible for creating and following up on implementation plans, other social documentation, and other administrative tasks and areas of responsibility, such as scheduling, purchase orders, and health and safety matters. You will also support your colleagues in the workplace with social documentation and implementation plans.

You serve as a resource and support in developing and using individually adapted pedagogical solutions and methods in day-to-day work, as well as spreading new knowledge about pedagogical methods within the operation.

The role involves collaboration with the user's network, other staff, and other partners. You will also drive development work forward together with colleagues according to established goals, methods, quality requirements, and other guidelines.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have post-secondary specialization within the disability field, for example, 200 YH credits (University College) or 60 higher education credits. The education should have a clear focus on the disability field and/or the behavioral science field.

To work within care and social services, you must be at least 18 years old. It is important that you have the ability to meet people professionally based on their individual conditions and needs. As a person, you are self-reliant and stress-resistant, with the individual in focus. You are empathetic, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You have good social skills and thrive working in a flexible manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Sufficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required for the work to, among other things, communicate with users, perform care documentation, and receive medical delegation. Experience from working within psychiatry is meritorious.

Class B driver's license is required for the position.

An extract from the criminal record for work with the elderly and adults with disabilities is a requirement.

Please attach a CV and a cover letter with your application.
