About the operations

The adult psychiatric operations in Örnsköldsvik consist of two outpatient clinics (A and B), a specialist psychiatric nursing team, and emergency operations. The outpatient clinics have a general psychiatric focus and are aimed at people over 18 years of age who are in need of psychiatric care at a specialist level. Clinic B's main task is to investigate and treat patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities and psychiatric comorbidity.

Clinic B is centrally located in Örnsköldsvik. A total of about 20 therapists from various professions work at the clinic. We meet patients with a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions. We place great emphasis on good treatment, assessment/diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment. We are HBTQI certified. We offer a good working community in a pleasant team and development opportunities. We have the advantages of being both a smaller unit and at the same time belonging to a larger clinic. The content of the position can be adapted based on the appointee's special competence or areas of interest based on the operations' needs.

We are now looking for a social worker for a 6-month temporary position with the possibility of extension. The position is a full-time position with immediate start according to agreement.

Tasks

• Coordinate interventions
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers around the patient
• Stay updated on societal resources
• Carry out support conversations based on psychosocial stress factors
• Pay attention to children's needs
• Be a support for relatives
• Conduct psychosocial mapping
• Efficiently handle changes in pace

During the introduction, you will be assigned a mentor to support you in getting into the work. Supervision is offered.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have a social work degree or other relevant education that the employer considers equivalent
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is meritorious if you

• Have previous experience of working within specialist psychiatry
• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing
