Organizationally, you will belong to the Mother and Child Health Psychologists. Within the County Clinic, fourteen psychologists work today, of whom seven are within Mother and Child Health and eight within Child and Adolescent Health.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with a B driver's license. Meritorious is previous work within Mother and Child Health or alternatively experience working with small children. Great importance is placed on personal qualities. You have good collaboration skills as you value and see the benefit of collaboration with others. You think strategically and have a broad perspective on issues. You are proactive and relationship-building.

Here is what you will work with

You will meet expectant parents, parents, and children in the age group 0–5 years. The focus is on preventive work and early interventions. As a psychologist within the unit, you contribute to promoting mental health and preventing illness through consultations and direct interventions for expectant parents, parents, and children, in collaboration with the staff at the county's health centers. The work is varied, developmental, and includes among other things; consultation, method development, and staff training, mapping/assessment and counseling therapy, advice and support in parenthood, as well as developmental assessment at the Child Health Center (BVC) level. You will collaborate with the child's other network and important care neighbors. The work is largely independent, and you can plan your working days and setup to a high degree based on the tasks included. All health centers in Norrbotten County are our work area. Some travel is included in the job, but can often be planned well in advance. Location in Norrbotten County.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position, daytime hours. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
