The National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse issues. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this in youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, across the country. At SiS, your working life becomes an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Vemyra, located outside Sollefteå, receives school-age boys up to 16 years old with psychosocial problems, as well as issues related to crime and substance abuse.

Job Description

SiS Youth Home Vemyra is looking for you who can work as a substitute during regular staff leave/absence.

The work involves ensuring that the institution's youths receive meals five days a week during weekdays in the daytime, together with the rest of the kitchen staff, as well as preparing weekend meals. Service is handled by treatment staff. You prepare lunch and dinner, pack goods, prepare goods for ordering to the departments, and assist with other tasks in a large kitchen.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Completed upper secondary education
  • Experience working in a kitchen
  • Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
  • Category B driver's license

Merits:

  • Meritorious if you have large kitchen training, chef training, or other training that the employer deems equivalent, ongoing, or completed.

Employment:

The position is a hourly-based employment. Start date by agreement.
