Anonymous recruitment – how does it work and why do we use it?
As part of Metsä Group’s gender equality program and our vision - "Metsä for all" - we use anonymous recruitment. The purpose is to reduce the effect of unconscious bias and potential discrimination.
The applicant's gender and date of birth are not requested in the application form. Personal data such as name, mother tongue, study dates, names of educational institutions, and contact details are hidden until the interview stage. Attachments (such as CVs) are also hidden.
Recruiters have access to the contact details of those invited to interview once the applicant has been selected for an interview. Our system guides you through the application process. The questions in the application form help you present your skills and experiences anonymously. Answer all questions carefully. If you are invited to an interview, your CV will be shown to the recruiters to support the interview.
