Stockholm Centre for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the world's largest specialist clinics for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages.

We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, inpatient care, and national highly specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today we have nearly 300 employees. Our outpatient and day care are located on Södermalm, and our inpatient care is at Danderyd Hospital.

Day care and intensive outpatient care for adults treat patients from 16 years of age with various eating disorder diagnoses, often with psychiatric comorbidity. The treatment is based on evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy adapted for eating disorders (CBT-E). The treatment is time-limited and based on the different phases in CBT-E, which include individual conversations and group treatments for our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Great focus is placed on meal situations where you will be a meal support for the patients. Here we work with an environment as symptom-free regarding eating disorders as possible, and your task is to support the patients according to the CBT-E method.
• You will also have recurring/weekly conversations with the patients (in phase 1 and 2) regarding meal planning to support and plan for meals at home.
• You participate in weekly evaluations/team conferences together with the patient, doctor, and responsible therapist. Before the team conference, you help with weight measurements.
• You are responsible for ensuring treatment materials are available. You have an "open door" and are available for the patients on the unit.
• You will also participate in treatment conferences, method development, planning days, and APT (Annual Work Planning) together with other staff on the unit.

Qualifications:

You are a trained assistant nurse with a certificate of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

Previous experience of working within psychiatry and with patients with eating disorders is required.
