Skoga Senior Centre is a care and housing facility operated directly by Solna Municipality. Skoga is located in a beautiful natural setting with a lovely garden in Huvudsta, Solna. Our profile is characterized by gardens, nature, and outdoor activities, and we offer our residents a varied daily life with both individual and group activities. We have 100 apartments and approximately 120 employees. There is a lot happening at Skoga; we find it stimulating and important for our residents, and we are deeply committed to making their daily lives as good as possible.

What does the role involve?

As a nurse at Skoga, you have care responsibility for residents and collaborate closely with care staff whom you lead during night shifts. You ensure patient safety and person-centered care. You work closely with the operations manager, doctors, and paramedics. While you have access to other nursing colleagues, you will work alongside other care personnel during your shifts. At the beginning of your employment, you will be offered a mentor. We document using LifeCare HSL.

Each work shift includes a handover report with other nurses who have worked to ensure a thorough overview of events during the shift.

Who are we looking for?

You are a licensed nurse with experience in geriatric care or elderly care. Further education in these areas is considered an asset. Since the role requires oral and written reporting and documentation, you must have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.

As a person, you thrive in a role with significant responsibility and are confident in your professional role. You have a good attitude towards others, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to lead others. You work independently and structure and plan your work efficiently. You place great importance on performing high-quality work.

More information about the application

The position is permanent and full-time (100%), with a start date to be agreed upon. The role includes working every third weekend according to the schedule. We warmly welcome your application by July 12, 2026.
