Are you a certified nursing assistant interested in combining daily work in home care with planning tasks? We are now looking for an engaged planner for Home Care Östra Torn in Lund Municipality!

About the role and your responsibilities

You are employed as a nursing assistant and work primarily from 07:00–15:00, with shifts every other weekend. As a planner, your working hours are 06:30–15:00. In this position, you combine care work with administrative tasks.

Your work as a nursing assistant is driven by the needs of the individuals. A workday may consist of providing support and help with personal care, caregiving tasks, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance needed by the person you support.

In the role of planner, you are responsible for planning and scheduling approved services for our users. You play a central role with many contact points and collaborate continuously with users, relatives, colleagues, managers, and coordinators. The work takes place in systems such as Lifecare, MA, the HR portal, and others. The operation also has a coordinator who works Monday to Friday, and there are two planners who work every other weekend.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (36 hours and 20 minutes per week) as a nursing assistant, with a time-limited trust assignment as a planner lasting a maximum of six months at a time, with good opportunities for extension.

We are looking for you

  • Who is a certified nursing assistant.
  • Experience in similar work is meritorious, for example within elderly care.
  • You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • It is meritorious if you have worked as a planner previously.
  • You have good digital competence, e.g., in connection with documentation.
  • Cycling proficiency is required for work within home care services.

You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and responsive – to users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is that every individual is involved and has influence over their daily life.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is important that you maintain calm and focus, even in situations where many things are happening at once or during rapid changes. You need to be confident in yourself and able to set boundaries when necessary.

About the workplace

Home Care Östra Torn's facilities are located at Mobilvägen 12. Here you will find a restaurant and access to a gym in our pleasant, modern premises. Here we work together under the same roof; nursing assistants, care assistants, managers, coordinators, planners, administrators, and healthcare staff. We have weekly meetings and training together as a team. It is easy to get here by bike, car, bus, or tram. The users are located in the local area, and we travel to them by bicycle.

Lund Municipality's home care is divided into several geographical areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care assistants work in teams with healthcare staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area includes a unit administrator and a coordinator/planner.
